A Murder Mystery Dinner.
You are invited to leap into the spirit of Christmas, and dress up as one of Charles Dickens’ characters – you might be Miss Havisham or Estella from Great Expectations, or perhaps you’ll play Mr. Bah Humbug himself, Ebenezer Scrooge of A Christmas Carol infamy.
Over a traditional 2-course Christmas dinner, you and your fellow Dickens character guests will sort through the clues and investigate who dunnit.
Perhaps YOU are the murderer!
Your bloody evening will begin in the Library with mulled wine and canapés, during which you will mingle with your fellow suspects. Your Murder Host will attend, and introduce you to the evening’s proceedings, and then escort you to the Murder Room for your first course.
The Murder Mystery will begin; and as your Host guides you through the rest of the evening, you will hurl accusations at the other guests, while protecting yourself from slanderous allegations. Investigations will continue over dinner…
At the end of the evening, while lingering over coffee and port, you will have the opportunity to lay out the results of your inquiries, and point the finger at who you suspect is the murderous culprit!
Once you and your fellow guests have outlined their cases, your Murder Host will reveal the identity of the murderer (or murderers).
For some extra bloodthirsty fun, you’ll sing some almost familiar tunes from the Bloody Christmas Carol song book.

It has been 23 years since Miss Havisham was left at the altar (Dickens’ Great Expectations).
Her Mansion is now in ruins and her days are spent in a haze of madness. She continues to wear her wedding dress. But something has occurred that has summoned a moment of clarity. A skeleton has been dug up on the property. A mutilated, murdered corpse, that at least for Miss Havisham must be her lost fiancé. Is it possible that after all these years she wasn’t in fact jilted? But who committed this atrocity?
A plan is set forth, as the very guests that were present on her wedding day 23 years ago, receive invitations to spend Christmas Eve at the Satis Manor… and within the Christmas merriment a murderer will be uncovered.
Join your favorite Dickens characters from Great Expectations, A Christmas Carol, Bleak House, The Old Curiosity Shop and Oliver Twist as the truth is revealed and the bloodiest of murders is revealed (and sing a few dark Christmas carols in the process).
