The kids’ show, The Wollemi Warrior Adventure, is on tour… and the final show is on Saturday 4th October 2014 at The Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens, Mount Tomah.
This is an especially auspicious show, because 2014 is the 20th anniversary of the discovery of the Wollemi Pine.
It’s a story about Wendy the Wollemi Warrior, played by Jade Alex, who saves the protected Wollemi Pine from being turned into a toothpick by the dastardly Iggy Chop (played by Simon Lenthen, who also wrote and directed this production).
Featuring interactive action, beautiful songs and delightful poems by Denis Kevans, this show is perfect school holiday entertainment. This event is also part of the annual Blue Mountains Festival of Walking.
This interactive show is produced by Entertainment Blue Mountains and was originally commissioned by the Gardens in 2012.
